This programme has been designed to help enable participants to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to enable persons who may be required to lift/ move loads in their working environment, this programme will comply with the provi-sions of the 2007 General/ Application Regulations and the 2005 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act. The programme will equip learners with the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out all Patient Handling tasks in a safe and secure manner with an emphasis on injury prevention and encouraging safety within the work place.
