| The aim of this programme is to equip learners with the knowledge, skill and competency to achieve a QQI Level 3 in Operating Horticulture Equipment 3N0889 . On completion og this programme learners will be capable of Identify and list the tools, material and equipment required to perform basic ground maintenance while being able to accurately describe how soil and weather conditions can have an affect on the use of different horticulture equipment and tools, learners will be use a range hand and power tools and equipment to carry out a range of horticultural tasks to include digging, forking, raking, hoeing, sweeping, cutting and trimming hedges and grass, and rotavation of soil. | |
