Capita to create 800 new jobs over the next 3 years
Service solutions provider Capita has announced it will create 800 jobs in Ireland over the next three years.
The majority of the jobs will be based in Dublin.
Capita has been operating in Ireland since 1999.
It provides professional and outsourced services to companies in Ireland, including international companies based in Ireland.
Its clients include many of the world's leading banks and financial service companies, including Goldman Sachs, Citibank and NAMA.
Capita currently employs 800 people in Dublin and Maynooth.
It plans to double its Irish workforce and is recruiting professionals and graduates across all its businesses in the financial services sector.
The roles will be in areas including fund administrations, loan administration, asset management and recovery and support services for the life and pensions industry.
The announcement coincides with the opening of Capita’s new Dublin office at Grand Canal Square.
Capita has also signalled its intention to develop a call centre-type operation outside Dublin in the future.
The company says it is growing its business in Ireland.
It is also extending services delivered to clients across the UK and Europe.
Country Manager for Capita Robbie Hughes has said the expansion is a significant investment for the company.
He said it underlined its confidence in Ireland as a place to do business.
